James Beecher
White Pine County District Attorney
James S. Beecher is the District Attorney for White Pine County, appointed in February of 2021. He also volunteers as the Judge Advocate for the American Legion, Department of Nevada. Prior to his appointment as the White Pine County District Attorney, James served as the Chief Deputy District Attorney for White Pine County, as well as legal counsel for the White Pine County School District, the White Pine County Tourism and Recreation Board, and the Rural Nevada Development Corporation.
James received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and his law degree from William S. Boyd School of Law – University of Nevada, Las Vegas, after which he was admitted to practice law by the State of Nevada.
