Jaren is the District Attorney for Mineral County. Prior to joining the Mineral County District Attorney’s Office, Jaren graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning in 2014 and earned a Juris Doctor degree at the Antonin Scalia School Law School at George Mason University, in Arlington, Virginia in 2017.
Following law school, Jaren moved to Nevada where he completed a two-year clerkship with the Honorable Jim C. Shirley of the Eleventh Judicial District Court of Nevada. In 2019, Jaren began his career as a prosecutor with the Mineral County District Attorney’s Office. In 2022, the Mineral County Board of Commissioners appointed Jaren as the Mineral County District Attorney.
